The Official Guide to The Daedalus Encounter

Scope: Conceptualized, outlined and wrote 288-page book on the CD-ROM game that I was the Creative Director on, The Daedalus Encounter. To create added value and scope to the book, I expanded on the game's screenplay (co-written by Ned Miller), designing the walkthrough section as a chronicle of Casey's (the game player's character) perspective on the adventure. In addition, nearly half of the book was dedicated to the making of the game, covering everything from brainstorming to the final pressing of the CD-ROMs.

Notes: This was my first book, and the largest writing project I had undertaken at the time. It was completed in only four weeks. All authoring work was completed at my home office, transmitting images and copy for editing and approval via email.
